Product Manager, M&A Transactions and Valuations
AlphaSense is seeking a Product Manager to oversee its M&A Transactions and Valuations content. This role is integral to the Content organization, which is responsible for sourcing, creating, licensing, and integrating both unstructured and structured data from various providers. The team emphasizes transparency, trust, and accountability in its operations and interactions.
The Product Manager will be responsible for understanding market needs and user personas, collaborating with sales and clients to gather feedback for new content and functionality enhancements. They will create and manage a content roadmap, plan and optimize costs, benefits, timelines, and resource allocation for content sourcing or in-house generation. Additionally, the role involves evaluating and integrating third-party or proprietary datasets, leading the design of data collection processes, and ensuring successful market launches of new features.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in product, content, or operations roles at financial institutions, investment research platforms, or market intelligence firms, focusing on delivering content, features, analytics, and models for front-office investment professionals. A minimum of 3 years managing or working closely with globally distributed content generation operations is required. Expertise in market data and investment research databases, products, and tools is essential. A bachelor's, master's, or MBA degree with a concentration in finance or economics, or a CFA certification, is preferred.
The base compensation for this role ranges from $159,000 to $200,000 USD, with potential for performance-based bonuses and equity. AlphaSense offers a generous benefits program to its employees.
