Product Analyst, Financial Data
AlphaSense is seeking a Product Analyst to join its Financial Data team, which is responsible for curating structured datasets that power the company's market intelligence platform. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the integration of financial data into the platform, enhancing clients' ability to analyze and make informed investment decisions.
The Product Analyst will support the development and execution of the FinData product roadmap by translating product goals into actionable requirements for engineering teams. Responsibilities include developing mockups and wireframes, defining business logic, querying internal databases to identify data insights, conducting data validation, and collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product managers to optimize system performance.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a highly analytical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience, including internships or academic projects. An interest in product management and technology development, intellectual curiosity about financial data and capital markets, strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and foundational proficiency in SQL are essential. Experience with advanced SQL techniques and Python for data analysis or automation is considered a strong asset.
The position offers a base compensation range of $93,000 to $110,000 CAD, with potential for equity and a generous benefits program. AlphaSense provides a flexible work environment, primarily remote with an office located in downtown Vancouver, BC, for optional in-office days.
