Producer
Host Broadcast Services (HBS) is seeking a Producer to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a leading independent host broadcast specialist, HBS delivers world-class live sports coverage to global audiences, including events like the FIFA World Cup™. This role involves bringing bold ideas to life and turning them into unforgettable live and non-live international broadcasts.
The Producer will execute the editorial vision across both presentation and game coverage, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of content. Responsibilities include creating and managing on-site shooting schedules, allocating crews and editors efficiently, providing strong creative input across all content, and contributing to pre-production creative planning. Additionally, the role involves supporting the development and improvement of workflows across live and non-live environments, coordinating freelance production talent, and collaborating closely with on-screen talent to develop and produce content.
Candidates should have proven experience in live sports or large-scale international broadcast production, with technical and editorial knowledge of production workflows, including remote production. Strong editorial judgment and creative storytelling abilities are essential, along with experience in building schedules and managing crews in high-pressure environments. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams are required, as well as experience in client-facing environments that demand diplomacy and negotiation skills. An interest in or knowledge of basketball production would be beneficial.
This position requires a minimum of three days a week in the Central London office and involves international travel, including long-term trips.
