Controlling Manager - Finance – International Sport Broadcasting
Host Broadcast Services (HBS) is seeking a Controlling Manager to join our Global Finance team, focusing on large international projects. HBS is a leading independent host broadcast specialist, delivering world-class broadcast solutions for major sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup™, to a global audience. In this role, you will work closely with Project Directors and operational teams, owning project budgets end-to-end and providing forward-looking financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading project budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning; monitoring project performance, cost control, margins, and cash flow; providing financial analysis and challenging assumptions to strengthen business decisions; supporting group strategic planning and management reporting; and collaborating across finance, operations, HR, and legal teams in a matrix environment.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in financial or project controlling and be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), though part-qualified or those studying toward qualification will be considered. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience in international or project-driven environments are essential. Additionally, confident communication and proactive business partnering abilities are required.
