Principal Marketing Analyst
As a Principal Marketing Analyst at AlphaSense, you will be a key member of the Marketing Analytics team, which is central to the company's data-driven marketing strategy. This team collaborates closely with various marketing and sales development departments to uncover insights, measure performance, and guide strategic decisions. AlphaSense, a leader in AI-powered market intelligence, serves over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500, by delivering critical insights from a vast array of public and private content.
In this role, you will design and build compelling data visualizations and dashboards to translate complex findings into actionable insights for the marketing team and executive leadership. You will develop and maintain data tables and reporting structures to ensure accurate and timely measurement of marketing campaign performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will incorporate AI into your workflows to automate analyses, enhance predictive capabilities, and uncover deeper insights. Identifying and sourcing new datasets, both internal and external, to enrich the understanding of customer behavior and market trends will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will lead deep-dive analyses on new and changing organizational needs, providing data-driven recommendations to guide marketing strategy and investment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related data-focused role. A strong portfolio of dashboards and reports created in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is essential. Hands-on experience creating and managing data tables using SQL, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, is required. Experience handling key demand generation datasets from platforms such as GA4, DemandBase, Marketo, and Outreach is also necessary. Additionally, leveraging AI to build agents, models, and automate analytical workflows is a crucial skill for this position. A strategic and curious thinker with a proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify new data opportunities, and drive analytical projects from conception to completion will thrive in this role.
The base compensation range for this position is $116,000 to $140,000 USD annually. In addition to the base salary, you may be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
