Principal AI Platform Engineer
AlphaSense is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer to lead the development and operation of scalable AI-powered systems. This role involves collaborating with a team of skilled engineers to enhance the reliability and performance of AI applications that serve enterprise clients.

Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in building and managing distributed systems in production settings. Essential qualifications include a proven track record of improving system reliability, deep expertise in modern engineering practices such as microservices and containerization, strong coding skills across the technology stack, and experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams. Preferred qualifications encompass experience with large language model applications, familiarity with prompt engineering and vector databases, and a background in high-growth companies or modern engineering cultures.
Within the first year, the successful candidate is expected to transform software development and operational practices, reduce incidents, establish robust testing and observability standards, and build platforms that enable faster and safer deployment for other engineers.
