Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services
The Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services at AlphaSense plays a pivotal role within the Customer Success organization, collaborating closely with Account Executives to drive new business revenue. This position focuses on engaging with financial services clients, including asset management firms, investment banks, private equity/venture capital firms, and hedge funds, to demonstrate the value of AlphaSense's AI-driven market intelligence platform. AlphaSense, headquartered in New York City, is a leading provider of market intelligence and search solutions, trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500.
Key responsibilities include partnering with go-to-market teams to manage seamless product evaluations, conducting targeted discovery into clients' unique research workflows, and developing tailored demonstrations that address specific use cases. The consultant will also build and maintain strong relationships with investment professionals, understanding their challenges and positioning AlphaSense as a credible domain and product expert. Additionally, the role involves contributing to product development by translating client feedback into actionable insights for the Product Management and Content teams.
Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in a financial services role or in a fintech/SaaS organization supporting financial services clients, with exposure to workflows in asset management, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or hedge funds. A demonstrated interest in the application of AI within the financial sector, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of the competitive landscape for generative AI in financial services are essential. The role also requires executive presence and strong presentation skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels and earn their trust.
