Pre-Sales Consultant
Arcesium is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Client and Partner Development group in London. This role involves partnering with the Sales team to engage with new and existing customers, utilizing extensive product and industry knowledge to deliver compelling presentations and technology demonstrations that drive the technical aspect of the sales process. The Pre-Sales Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure the appropriate technical resources are coordinated at each stage of the sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of Arcesium's business and functional domains, including the underlying technology, to effectively communicate the value proposition and deliver product demonstrations to clients, prospective customers, and trade show attendees. The role also involves providing support for inquiries about our products, services, and other technical aspects of the platform, as well as responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. Additionally, the Pre-Sales Consultant will work with Sales, Technology, Financial Operations, and Implementation teams to gather and interpret requirements to create proposals and preliminary project plans, including high-level solution and integration designs for prospective clients.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales consulting, sales engineering, technical sales, business development, consulting, or client support, preferably within financial services or financial technology sectors. Candidates must be organized, methodical, and motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, along with excellent presentation and relationship-building abilities, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required. A bachelor's degree and a strong record of academic and professional achievement are also necessary, with a passion for technology being highly desirable.
Arcesium offers a competitive compensation package, including an expected annual base salary ranging from £140,000 to £175,000. The package also includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, as well as benefits such as medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401(k) contribution matching. The specific annual base salary offered to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
