People Operations Coordinator - Global
The People Operations Coordinator - Global at AlphaSense is responsible for delivering a seamless and high-quality employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role serves as a key operational partner, ensuring timely support for employee inquiries, accurate data management across systems, and smooth coordination of onboarding and offboarding processes. With a strong focus on detail, organization, and service, the Coordinator helps maintain compliance, operational efficiency, and a welcoming experience for employees.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for all People Operations inquiries via Jira ticketing, email, and other sources, ensuring adherence to service level agreements. The Coordinator provides tier 1 People Team support, such as answering employee questions, offering system user support, handling complaint/employee relations intake, and processing verifications of employment. Additionally, the role involves managing onboarding tasks, including processing new hires in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, auditing new hire data against the applicant tracking system, communicating with new hires to ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks, and scheduling new hire orientation sessions. The Coordinator also maintains the integrity of company HCM and third-party systems through accurate and timely data processing, creates new job requisitions in HCM, and manages offboarding tasks, including processing terminations and coordinating with IT and other departments as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses 1-3+ years of HR administrative support experience, with at least 1 year of experience using Workday HR and a ticketing service tool, preferably Jira. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to understand and communicate HR-related information clearly. International experience or exposure is a plus but not required, preferably with HR experience supporting North America and EMEA. Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including experience with filters, vLookup, and formulas, is advantageous. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
