Nursing Home Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing practice, with opportunities available in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, or Port St. Lucie. The Nursing Home Attorney will handle a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial.

Responsibilities include day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases, drafting and filing of litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will guide clients through the case process, interact with expert witnesses—including conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits—and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association. A minimum of 4+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice and/or nursing home matters, is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases, excellent client service and communication skills, be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals, and possess superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
