Network Engineer
AlphaSense is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our global corporate network across APAC offices. This role involves collaborating with Corporate Technology, Network Security, and Security Engineering teams to ensure a resilient, scalable, and vendor-agnostic infrastructure. The position is based in Delhi and requires regional travel to support our offices.
Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and Wi-Fi solutions for multiple global offices, managing Cisco Meraki switches, routers, and access points, and implementing Wi-Fi Enterprise Authentication and zero-trust access controls. The role also involves planning and optimizing enterprise Wi-Fi, building secure cloud and hybrid networking, automating deployments with Python and Ansible, and supporting compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.
The ideal candidate will have 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise networking with multi-site design and operations, deep expertise in routing, switching, and segmentation, and proven experience with Cisco networking technology, especially Cisco Meraki. Proficiency in Python and Ansible for automation, skills in NAC/RADIUS integrations with identity providers like Okta and Azure AD, and a strong understanding of certificate-based authentication and zero-trust architectures are essential. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership skills, along with the willingness and ability to travel internationally for deployments, are also required.
Preferred qualifications include cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, experience with SASE/ZTNA platforms like Cloudflare or Zscaler, and professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP.
