Mobile Developer - Instawork Robotics

Instawork is seeking a Mobile Developer to join our Robotics team in San Francisco, California. This role involves owning the development of our custom, AI-enabled application used for distributed robotics data collection. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to advancing our AI-powered labor marketplace, which supports both local businesses and global technology companies in the robotics and AI sectors.

In this position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the Instawork Pro Capture app. Your tasks will include implementing new computer vision capabilities, internationalization features, analytics, and integrating the app with our data pipeline. Collaboration with robotics leadership, data operations, quality assurance, and other engineering teams will be essential to ensure alignment from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in iOS and Android development, excluding internships, with a minimum of 2 years in native Swift programming. A proven track record of publishing scalable apps for a global user base is required. A strong focus on customer experience, with a commitment to continuous improvement based on user feedback and app analytics, is essential.

Preferred qualifications include experience with ARKit, XR applications, and data collection apps. Experience in shipping production code at early-stage or mid-stage startups, as well as cross-platform development experience with Android and Unity, is advantageous.

The base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 annually.
