Mid-Market Account Executive - Financial Services & Healthcare
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Gong, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base within the financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy industries. This position is based in Chicago, New York City, or Salt Lake City, with a hybrid work model requiring three days in the office each week. In this role, you will manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Your responsibilities include articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition to prospective clients, running pilot programs, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts to achieve quarterly quotas. Building and nurturing lasting relationships with customers is essential to ensure their success and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has over three years of relevant closing experience, preferably selling to organizations in the specified industries. Previous experience in outbound prospecting into greenfield territories and a proven track record of closing deals ranging from $50K to $250K+ are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential for success in this role.
