Senior DevOps Engineer

Gong is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and evolve the platform that runs Gong's production environment across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This role involves managing a multi-cloud, multi-region Kubernetes platform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems that support hundreds of Java microservices and machine learning workloads.

Key responsibilities include owning a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform managed as code via Crossplane, Helm, and ArgoCD; developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo Workflows; and ensuring robust monitoring, logging, and alerting across the stack with tools like Datadog, Coralogix, Sentry, and Wiz. The engineer will also address high-scale production challenges, drive continuous platform and security upgrades, and design GitOps workflows for safe production deployments.

The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering, with deep expertise in AWS and a proven track record of managing high-scale production systems. Proficiency with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is essential, along with fluency in infrastructure as code and GitOps practices using Terraform and ArgoCD. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Node.js, and a solid understanding of cloud security and architecture best practices are also required.
