Manager/Senior Manager - Finance

As the Manager/Senior Manager of Finance at Instawork India, you will lead the finance and accounting team for Instawork's Indian subsidiary, reporting directly to the U.S. Controller and collaborating closely with the Country Head of Instawork India. Instawork is a leading online labor marketplace connecting businesses with skilled hourly workers across various industries.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end financial management for the Indian entity, encompassing payroll, accounts payable, corporate accounting, month-end close processes, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Additionally, you will manage the U.S. company's Accounts Receivable function, including supervising AR collections analysts.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of experience and a strong understanding of Indian accounting principles. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is advantageous, and experience with global financial operations, particularly in Accounts Receivable, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required, and familiarity with NetSuite is desirable. Excellent written and communication skills, along with the ability to work some U.S. Pacific Time zone hours, are essential.
