On a day-to-day basis, the Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for drafting legal documents, preparing and filing pleadings and motions, coordinating discovery, and maintaining case files. The individual will also interact with clients, witnesses, experts, and court staff, schedule appointments, and assist with trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and trial binders. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are critical to ensuring deadlines are met and case details are managed efficiently.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting, with strong knowledge of both state and federal litigation procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in legal research, and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with case management software and comfort working in a fast-paced environment are also required. An associate degree, paralegal certificate, or relevant bachelor’s degree is typically preferred for this role.
