Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support throughout all phases of the litigation process. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a firm dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and drafting discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with case settlements.
The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, along with a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of two years of litigation experience is required, with a preference for those who have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential.
