Legal Assistant

Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized trial firm, is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our Seattle, WA office. This role offers the opportunity to support our attorneys in civil litigation and insurance defense cases within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for drafting and e-filing legal documents, managing case calendars, coordinating hearings and trial preparations, and maintaining communication with clients and courts. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes and upholding the firm's commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat, is essential. Familiarity with state and federal court filings in Washington, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are also required.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an hourly pay range of $33 to $43, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed.
