Legal Assistant, Mass Tort

Johnson Law Group is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our mass tort division in Houston, Texas. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized firm with over 25 years of experience advocating for injured clients. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for managing pre-trial case activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and procedures. Key duties include drafting and e-filing complaints, motions, and discovery documents in both state and federal courts. The role also involves analyzing medical records to assess claims and maintaining ongoing communication with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout their cases.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. While experience in mass tort or personal injury law is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Strong communication and writing skills, along with the ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, are essential.
