Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Arcesium is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Lisbon. As a global financial technology firm, we address complex data-driven challenges for some of the world's most sophisticated financial institutions. In this position, you will engineer our Linux compute platform based on Kubernetes and AWS, develop Python and Terraform-based tools and automation, build infrastructure applications, and troubleshoot complex systems. Your work will involve solving problems through a combination of coding and implementing open-source solutions, leveraging your design and automation skills to meet Arcesium's business and technology needs.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of owning and operating critical infrastructure systems such as Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, and AWS IAM. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with advanced Python skills, is essential. Experience running critical workloads on AWS and the ability to balance timely delivery with risk management are also required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is necessary, along with a valid work permit for Portugal.
