Junior Dev Ops Engineer

Nixxes Software, a leading Dutch company specializing in video game design, development, and porting, is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Utrecht, Netherlands. As part of PlayStation Studios since July 2021, Nixxes focuses on delivering high-quality gameplay experiences for PlayStation fans.

In this role, the Junior DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain tools and services, set up and maintain CI/CD systems, provide technical assistance to team members, and collaborate closely with various teams and other DevOps staff.

The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic, hands-on, problem-solving mentality, basic programming experience in C# or C++, basic knowledge of web application development, an understanding of CI/CD concepts, experience with one or more scripting languages, self-motivation, proactivity, and good communication skills in written and spoken English. Candidates must reside in the Netherlands to work frequently in the office.

Preferred qualifications include game industry and development experience, experience with Angular and Laravel web frameworks, experience with Jenkins automation server, interest in the technical aspects of AAA game development, and fluency in Dutch.
