IT Support Analyst II
The IT Support Analyst II at AlphaSense plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the company's IT Service Desk. This position involves managing and maintaining macOS and Windows desktop environments, overseeing centralized user authentication and single sign-on technologies, and setting up and maintaining audio/visual equipment for conference rooms and large-scale company meetings. The role is integral to supporting AlphaSense's mission of delivering AI-driven market intelligence to over 6,000 enterprise customers worldwide.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the IT Service Desk Manager to enhance the end-user support experience, streamlining employee onboarding and device deployments, and maintaining desktop environments. The analyst will also develop and maintain support documentation, promote a collaborative team culture, and support existing IT services such as Okta Identity Platform, Google Workspace, Zoom, Trello, Slack, MS Office 365, Kandji MDM, and Microsoft Intune. Additionally, the role involves managing audio/visual equipment for meetings, handling asset and inventory tracking, and supporting compliance activities related to information security and data privacy.
The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role, with a strong ability to handle complex technical issues independently. Deep knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and identity management is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and experience with enterprise tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Kandji, and Microsoft Intune are highly valued. Professional certifications like ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Security+ are considered a plus.
