Head of PPC
The Head of PPC at Betsson Group is responsible for defining and leading the global pay-per-click (PPC) strategy across the company's online betting platforms. This role involves strategic ownership and hands-on leadership, including managing a team of PPC specialists and managers, driving performance across key markets, and continuously optimizing media investments to improve efficiency and scale. The position is based at Betsson Group's headquarters in Malta.
Key responsibilities include strategic planning and budgeting for PPC in current and new markets, supporting the team in their daily work to achieve goals, overseeing the management and optimization of PPC campaigns across search, video, and app platforms, and proactively analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth or improvement. The role also involves ensuring high-quality collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, presenting new ideas to increase efficiency and performance, maintaining optimal tracking and reporting infrastructure, and collaborating with external suppliers to optimize tactics and improve account performance.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience managing a team of at least three professionals and over 5 years of hands-on PPC experience, preferably within the iGaming industry or a multi-brand environment. A university degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience is required, with Google Ads certification preferred. Experience with keyword research, analysis, expansion, and optimization tools, managing multiple markets or within a global environment, and proficiency in paid media platforms such as Search Ads 360 and YouTube Ads are essential. Excellent Excel skills, self-motivation, an analytical approach to problem-solving, and strong communication skills are also necessary.
