Head of Mid Market Sales
The Head of Mid Market Sales at Arcesium LLC will lead the development and execution of a go-to-market strategy targeting mid-market financial institutions, asset managers, private capital firms, and regional banks. This role involves building and managing a high-performing sales team to drive scalable growth within the financial technology sector.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, defining the ideal customer profile, and aligning cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and customer success to ensure cohesive demand generation and post-sale delivery. The role also encompasses recruiting, onboarding, and leading a team of enterprise account executives and business development professionals, fostering a metrics-driven sales culture focused on accountability and client success. Additionally, the position requires driving predictable revenue growth through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning, while collaborating with revenue operations to establish performance metrics and sales process consistency.
Candidates should possess over seven years of experience in B2B sales leadership within financial technology, particularly in SaaS data platform high-velocity sales, with a strong network across buy-side, sell-side, and private markets. A proven track record of building and scaling high-velocity sales organizations, deep understanding of financial data workflows—including portfolio management, risk, operations, or data management systems—and exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience with both complex and high-velocity sales cycles and an entrepreneurial mindset with strong operational discipline are also required.
The expected annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $250,000. The compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, along with benefits such as medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401(k) contribution matching.
