Head of Global and Strategic Intelligence

The Head of Global and Strategic Intelligence at Mozilla Foundation is a senior individual contributor role within the Imagination & Strategic Growth (I&SG) team. This position focuses on synthesizing geopolitical and technology landscape signals, distilling incoming intelligence into organizational knowledge, and extending Mozilla's presence in key global contexts. The role reports directly to the Vice President and operates with high autonomy.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Mozilla Foundation’s field intelligence function, producing actionable intelligence on shifts in emerging and frontier technology governance landscapes, and preparing the organization’s positioning for major international convenings. The role also involves serving as the connective intelligence layer across Mozilla Foundation’s work, ensuring coherence and forward-looking strategies.

Required qualifications include extensive experience in strategic intelligence, a strong understanding of global technology policy, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capacity to work effectively in a distributed, global team environment.
