The Global Strategic Account Leader at AlphaSense is a pivotal role within the Corporate Strategic Sales team, focusing on the growth and expansion of the company's top 50 customers in regions such as EMEA and APAC. This position involves leading a team of Regional Account Executives and cross-functional partners to drive enterprise-wide adoption of AlphaSense's market intelligence platform. The role requires a strategic, value-based sales approach to establish and nurture executive-level relationships within Fortune 100 companies.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies for 5-10 global accounts, aiming to expand business by over 50% year-over-year through upselling, cross-selling, and integrating new products. The leader will conduct thorough market research, prepare for and lead meetings, build compelling business cases, and manage deals to successful closure. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with Sales Development Representatives and Marketing teams to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline development, as well as working closely with Account Management to ensure customer health and identify opportunities for further expansion.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales professional with a proven track record in managing new business, particularly within the Strategic or Major Accounts segment. Experience in a SaaS sales environment, utilizing value-based enterprise selling techniques to close multi-million dollar deals, is essential. The candidate should possess a strategic mindset, capable of co-creating visions with customers and building plans to achieve growth and customer value. Leadership skills are crucial, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and intellectual curiosity are also important attributes.
