Gaming - DevOps Engineer
The Gaming Area at Betsson Group focuses on delivering exceptional gaming products and user experiences across multiple brands and markets. As a DevOps Engineer within this team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our gaming platform, which is central to our company strategy and supports over 25 online brands. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contributing to our journey towards containerization and enhanced cloud deployment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both backend and frontend development teams by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, improving monitoring and observability, and maintaining custom infrastructure solutions. Key tasks include leading the migration from Octopus to GitHub Actions, designing and evolving monitoring systems with Prometheus/Grafana, and extending custom-built infrastructure components to handle increased traffic and complex routing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure performance, scalability, and security across our systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience with GitHub Actions and Octopus, focusing on deployment automation, speed, reliability, and test coverage. Proficiency with Prometheus/Grafana for building dashboards and integrating monitoring into CI/CD workflows is required. Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, ALB, VPC, and EKS, along with experience managing infrastructure using Terraform and modules, is essential. Additionally, proven experience in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters, scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and proficiency in Git are necessary.
