Financial Modeling Analyst

The Financial Modeling Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting live transactions, working directly with the firm's M&A, Executive Compensation, and Private Wealth partners during active deals.
In this hands-on role, the analyst will be responsible for building, updating, and reviewing financial models related to ongoing transactions. Key tasks include analyzing deal structures, management equity, rollover scenarios, and incentive arrangements. The analyst will check assumptions, run scenarios, and highlight significant changes in economics, providing clear and practical input to assist partners in negotiating positions. Additionally, the role involves tracking relevant market and valuation contexts as they apply to specific deals and contributing to the improvement of internal models and templates over time.
The ideal candidate will have approximately five years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory, with a strong, practical understanding of M&A transactions and deal economics. Proficiency in financial modeling is essential, as the analyst will be expected to build models independently. Attention to detail, the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to lawyers and senior partners, and comfort working independently in a remote, professional environment are also critical. Reliability, discretion, and thoughtfulness when handling sensitive information are paramount.
