Employment Law Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department in Irvine, California. This role is integral to our mission of defending consumer rights and requires full-time, in-office presence five days per week.

The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Additional duties include organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices; interfacing with administrative agencies like the EEOC; e-filing court documents in federal and state courts; preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses; drafting and serving summons; coordinating depositions; and preparing deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.

Candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least two years of experience in legal services within a law firm setting. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. General litigation experience, preferably in federal court, is desired. Applicants must have applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, and be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 annually. Full-time employees are offered an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
