Director, Real Estate
Arevon is seeking a Director of Real Estate to support its expanding project development teams in the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on title insurance, site control, and risk mitigation, contributing to Arevon's mission of delivering affordable and reliable homegrown energy across the United States.
The Director will perform detailed reviews of title reports, surveys, and real estate documents to assess risks. Responsibilities include advising on lease, easement, and option agreements, developing strategies to resolve title issues, managing contractors and surveyors, negotiating title coverages, and maintaining real estate status reports. Additionally, the role involves drafting legal instruments, abstracting real estate documents for internal systems, and implementing process improvements aligned with company objectives.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a law firm or real estate development setting. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement are also required.
