Director, COSE - Strategy & Planning
AlphaSense is seeking a Director of Strategy & Planning to lead the Strategy & Planning team within the Content Operations Strategy and Enablement (COSE) division. This role involves managing operational strategy and planning for Expert Call Services, Generated Content, and Compliance Operations teams. The Director will collaborate with go-to-market teams on annual planning related to the call services business.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and building the annual plan, encompassing departmental output goals, operational targets, and staffing levels. The Director will own quarterly forecasting and goal-setting processes, monitor capacity and utilization to determine staffing needs, and lead go-to-market planning with Revenue Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. Additionally, the role involves ensuring teams operate at target staffing levels through capacity monitoring and strategic adjustments, owning the account segmentation framework, and leading account balancing and territory planning initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, revenue operations, strategic finance, or within a high-growth startup environment. A minimum of three years managing teams, including experience building and maintaining team roadmaps, is required. Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, along with experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, is essential. The candidate should possess strong abilities in capacity modeling, performance forecasting, and impact quantification. A quick, adaptive learner with strong operational acumen and a bias for action is preferred.
The base compensation range for this position is between $163,000 and $177,000 USD annually. In addition to the base salary, the role offers a performance-based bonus, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits program.
