The Critical Power Manager is an integral member of the Basic Infrastructure team, responsible for planning and managing the power technical aspects of infrastructure facilities to ensure seamless and high-quality delivery across various projects. The primary focus of this role is to oversee on-site critical power delivery related to broadcast and event continuity, encompassing deployment, operations, and equipment removal for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Key responsibilities include participating in planning and daily tasks to prepare for event delivery, coordinating with critical power providers and stadium representatives to ensure smooth operations, and overseeing all on-site activities related to critical power setups at Non-Live Hubs, Stadiums, and the International Broadcast Centre (IBC). The Critical Power Manager reports directly to the Critical Power Manager Lead.
The ideal candidate possesses prior experience in power setup, with a preference for temporary power setups, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is essential. A high level of involvement and enthusiasm is expected, along with professional proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
