Credit Risk Manager
The Credit Risk Manager at Grab will oversee the entire credit lifecycle for "Pay Later" and Cash Loan products, utilizing data-driven assessments and predictive models to establish robust risk controls. This role involves improving key credit metrics, providing concise, actionable insights to executive management, and leading the risk team to enhance overall productivity and technical expertise. The position reports to the Head and is based onsite in Jakarta.
Key responsibilities include independently designing data-driven strategies for business challenges within acceptable risk parameters, encompassing whitelisting, underwriting, and lending limits. The manager will oversee the lending portfolio, advising on actions to maintain healthy metrics, and collaborate with various departments such as business, engineering, credit decision, data science, operations, legal, finance, and regional teams.
Candidates should possess a recognized degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science, along with at least seven years of full-time experience in consumer credit or broader Retail/SME sectors. Experience in consumer lending, team leadership, and a strong professional network across Indonesia's financial services, e-commerce, and retail sectors are essential. Proficiency in data analysis, including SQL and Python, and the ability to design effective PowerPoint presentations are required. Familiarity with the local financial regulatory environment, compliance, and customer due diligence processes is also necessary.
