Content Analyst
The Content Analyst role at AlphaSense involves collaborating with the Content team to enhance the company's content offerings and meet client needs. This position is based in Delhi and requires working closely with product managers, software engineers, and content vendors to identify and onboard new content sources, configure automatic content ingestion processes, and monitor content quality.
Key responsibilities include researching and analyzing new web-based content sources to augment AlphaSense's offerings, evaluating potential content for onboarding, and developing operational frameworks to achieve project goals. The analyst will also review content processing alerts, verify and upload company presentations and other materials from various websites, configure and maintain web scraping jobs, and define and execute quality reports. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting content issues, providing third-level support for content-related inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and external content providers, monitoring content flow, generating usage reports, and documenting content onboarding processes.
Candidates should possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, 0-4 years of data entry or data maintenance experience, and a high aptitude and willingness to learn. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and basic technical knowledge are required, along with superior Excel skills. The ability to distill complex issues into simple terms, effective time management, and the capacity to work independently are essential. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and experience with financial information, data, and analyst workflows is preferred. The role also requires working a late shift to support the U.S. revenue team.
Optional qualifications that are considered strong pluses include experience managing content aggregation processes, processing documents published by companies (such as presentations, filings, press releases, and transcripts), and configuring web crawl jobs for structured or unstructured data sets.
