Consultant - Product Consulting Group
Arcesium is seeking a self-motivated and critical thinker with strong communication skills to join our Product Consulting Group. This team serves as the first point of contact for our clients, providing day-to-day support for platform and workflow-related issues. Additionally, the team handles and resolves operational issues faced by clients while using our suite of middle and back-office applications, coordinating with internal teams as per defined service level agreements.
As a Consultant in the Product Consulting Group, you will act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing product and application-related queries and ensuring timely resolution. Your responsibilities will include managing client mandates from a product consulting perspective, effectively resolving operational queries, coordinating with Product and Release Managers for new client and fund onboarding, training clients on the effective use of the Arcesium platform, creating detailed documentation for future reference, escalating issues to internal teams or senior management as necessary, understanding the criticality of client-raised issues, preparing various management information system reports, and supporting internal tech teams in operational activities and quicker resolution of open issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of an MBA in a financial discipline, proficiency in industry and domain knowledge, and technical skillsets including knowledge of Python and other languages such as SQL or an understanding of C. An outstanding academic background with a passion to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential. Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables. A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude are also important. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality work under stringent deadlines. Work experience between 2 to 4 years in the financial services industry, supporting middle and back-office trade life cycles and/or interacting with hedge fund managers and other asset managers, will be an advantage. Knowledge of Treasury and/or Swaps trade lifecycle is also desirable.
