Connectivity Team Lead
As a Team Lead for the Connectivity team at Betsson Group, you will oversee a group of skilled engineers and technicians responsible for managing and optimizing critical infrastructure components. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the team's objectives align with the organization's overall goals. Your expertise in networking technologies such as AWS CloudWan, AWS Transit Gateways, AWS and on-premises network firewalls, Layer 3 switching, and VPNs will be essential in driving the team forward.
In this position, you will provide technical leadership by introducing automation to increase velocity and mentoring team members to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture. Responsibilities include resource planning, workload allocation, and ensuring team members have the necessary skills and tools to perform their duties effectively. Collaboration with other teams and stakeholders, such as architects, DevOps, security teams, and application developers, is crucial to ensure seamless integration and operation. Additionally, you will stay updated with new technologies to enhance services and lead the resolution of complex network issues and incidents. Ensuring infrastructure-as-code practices are followed while supporting the company's vision to transition from on-premise workloads to cloud-native workloads is also a key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a technical degree being beneficial. A minimum of three years' experience with technologies such as AWS networking services, Palo Alto or Cisco, VPN solutions, BGP, Terraform, and Git is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze complex technical issues, and strong project management skills are essential. Experience in managing and mentoring a team, providing performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative team culture is also important.
