Compliance Analyst
As a Compliance Analyst at AlphaSense, you will be an integral part of the Compliance Team, ensuring the integrity and legal compliance of our expert call transcripts. AlphaSense is a leading market intelligence platform that leverages AI to deliver critical insights from a vast array of public and private content, including equity research, company filings, and expert calls. The Compliance Team plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest legal and regulatory standards, providing clients with actionable insights while safeguarding sensitive information.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing expert call transcripts to identify and address instances of material nonpublic and confidential information, adhering to internal protocols and applicable laws. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting due diligence reviews, documenting any violations comprehensively, and escalating non-compliance issues as necessary. Additionally, you will perform advanced research using financial reports and regulatory filings to determine the public availability of information, manage internal and external communications efficiently, and maintain accurate data on processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in roles such as paralegal, legal assistant, compliance analyst, or similar positions, though strong transferable skills in research and analysis are also highly valued. Acute attention to detail, strong reading comprehension, and experience in proofreading, drafting, and investigative research are essential. The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial. Adaptability to changing priorities and a proactive approach to contributing innovative solutions are also important qualities for success in this role.
