Cloud Platform Engineer, Runtime Platform Team (K8s & Kafka)

Teads is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Runtime Platform Team, focusing on Kubernetes and Kafka technologies. As a leading omnichannel advertising platform, Teads partners with over 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers globally, delivering meaningful business outcomes through predictive AI technology. This role is based in Netanya, Israel, within our Infrastructure Team that operates across major cloud providers and on-premise data centers.

In this position, you will be responsible for architecting and enhancing our container orchestration and real-time data streaming systems. Your primary focus will be on strengthening our Kubernetes clusters and Kafka infrastructure to ensure seamless microservices operation. By abstracting the complexities of the underlying infrastructure, you will provide developers with a streamlined path to deploy and scale applications efficiently. Emphasis will be placed on achieving low latency, high throughput, and robust resilience.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building and managing workloads in public clouds such as AWS or Azure. Proficiency in programming, along with a strong working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Terraform, is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience is required. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality design, automation, and documentation, as well as a proactive approach to learning new tools and languages.
