Case Manager
The Case Manager position at Morgan & Morgan involves managing a diverse caseload within the firm's personal injury practice. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of assisting attorneys in developing settlements and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. Key responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person communications. The Case Manager will order medical records from providers, communicate with clients and providers during treatment, and obtain documents to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is desirable. The role requires the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with minimal supervision, along with strong writing and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are also required.
