Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a Case Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, ensuring efficient case progression and client satisfaction. As a Case Manager, you will interact daily with clients, both existing and potential, via telephone and in person. Your responsibilities will include ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and providers throughout the course of treatment, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. You will also interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintain organized case files, and prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney. Managing case files from intake to closing and performing other related duties as assigned are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years working as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal is required. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 35 words per minute is also required.
This on-site position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
