Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a Case Manager to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves working closely with attorneys to develop settlements, prepare documents, and correspond with clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and empathetic.

Key responsibilities include daily interaction with clients via telephone and in person, ordering medical records from providers, and communicating with clients and providers during treatment. The Case Manager will obtain necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, and negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers. Additionally, the role involves maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers, and managing case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.

The preferred qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree and prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. The candidate should be highly organized, possess strong writing and communication skills, and be able to type at least 35 words per minute.
