Maritime Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a Maritime Case Manager to join their team in Miami, Florida. This role involves working closely with attorneys and clients to manage maritime personal injury cases, ensuring efficient case progression and client satisfaction.
The Maritime Case Manager will be responsible for daily interactions with clients, ordering and reviewing medical records, obtaining necessary documentation to support injury and liability claims, and negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers. Additionally, the role includes communicating with healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, preparing comprehensive demand packages, and maintaining organized case files from intake to closure.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have at least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster, preferably within personal injury. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential. Excellent writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are also required.
