Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our Fort Myers, Florida office. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys by managing a diverse caseload and facilitating the development of settlements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a team committed to advocating for clients' rights.
In this role, you will engage daily with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person interactions. Your responsibilities will include ordering and reviewing medical records, obtaining necessary documentation to support injury and liability claims, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files. Maintaining organized case files and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workloads with minimal supervision.
