Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a Case Manager to join their team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, assisting in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and empathetic.
Key responsibilities include daily interaction with clients, both existing and potential, via telephone and in person. The Case Manager will order medical records from providers, communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment, and obtain documents necessary to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney.
The preferred qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree and prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is also preferred. The candidate should possess strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are required.
