The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan is designed to prepare individuals for a future role as a Case Manager within the firm. This role involves working as a floater, providing support to various attorneys and case staff on a rotational basis, and gaining comprehensive exposure to the firm's operations. Key responsibilities include assisting Case Managers and Attorneys in organizing and maintaining client files, managing caseloads exceeding 100 cases, and submitting check requests for essential records such as medical documentation and accident reports. The role also involves supporting demand preparation by gathering and organizing case documents electronically, handling certified mail processing, performing general administrative tasks, and preparing standard correspondence including turndown letters and contracts. Additionally, the trainee will assist in drafting and sending demand letters, working closely with experienced Case Managers to build core case management skills and contribute to case progress and team efficiency.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or in a support role within a law firm or corporate legal department being preferred. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in computer programs, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute. This on-site position offers the opportunity to be fully immersed in the work environment and gain direct experience alongside the team.

Compensation for this role is $20 per hour, with opportunities for upward mobility within the firm.
