Case Manager in Training

The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan offers an opportunity to join a dynamic legal team dedicated to protecting consumer rights. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and support, preparing individuals for advancement to a Case Manager position within the firm.

Key responsibilities include assisting case managers and attorneys with organizing, filing, and maintaining client files, managing up to 100+ cases. The role also involves collecting and processing check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership documents. Additional duties encompass copying documents and demand packages, completing certified mail cards, mailing documents and cost checks, performing general office tasks such as typing and sorting mail, creating client folders, preparing and sending various correspondence, and dispatching demand letters.

Preferred qualifications for this role include an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous. While one year of experience in the legal field is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates should possess knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including word processing and file management. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential. Strong written and communication skills, high organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, are also required.

Compensation for this on-site role starts at $22 per hour.
