Backend Software Developer - Web3

As a Backend Software Developer at Betsson Group, you will be instrumental in developing server-side code and APIs for our web applications. This role involves close collaboration with our development team to ensure system consistency and deliver an exceptional user experience. Betsson Group is embarking on an exciting journey to introduce innovative iGaming products and brands, leveraging the possibilities offered by Web3 technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include participating in sprint planning, task estimation, development testing, code reviews, and software deployment. You will also be tasked with maintaining and improving existing software, designing code and unit tests, and managing both SQL and NoSQL data models.

We are seeking candidates with over five years of experience as a backend developer, particularly in developing backend systems and Web API. Proficiency in SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including writing queries and performance tuning, is essential. Experience with blockchain integrations, designing and implementing distributed and multi-tier systems, and a solid understanding of service-oriented architectures are also required. Familiarity with automated testing, continuous integration, and agile methodologies is important. Additionally, experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues and fluency in both written and spoken English are necessary.
