Associate, Client Research
AlphaSense is seeking an Associate for its Client Research team in Chicago, IL. This role is integral to the company's mission of delivering AI-driven market intelligence by connecting clients with industry experts. The Associate will work within the Expert Call Services team, which focuses on providing clients with timely and relevant insights through expert consultations.
The primary responsibilities include sourcing and prospecting industry experts for clients' critical, time-sensitive projects. This involves creatively investigating and identifying relevant industry information and experts using various tools. The Associate will contact top decision-makers and C-level executives across industries via LinkedIn, email, and phone calls to facilitate connections between investors and these decision-makers, aiding in informed decision-making. Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a performance-driven environment is also a key aspect of the role.
Candidates should have experience in sales, recruiting, account management, sourcing, or similar fields, gained through internships, extracurricular leadership, or up to 1–2 years of full-time experience. Comfort with strategic sourcing and cold outreach is preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage C-level executives, are essential. The role requires high energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, persistence, drive, and a goal-oriented mindset. Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment are also important.
The total compensation range for this position is $52,500 to $71,500, which includes base salary and an uncapped variable incentive.
