AlphaSense is seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Associate Account Executive to join our growing Corporate Sales team, focusing on selling to Fortune 1000 companies. This role offers the opportunity to build on existing sales experience under the guidance of a Global Account Pod Leader, contributing to a larger team quota while learning from senior subject matter experts in the vertical. The successful candidate will sell an award-winning product experiencing rapid adoption across various industry verticals, making a significant contribution to the company's growth and future success.

Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end sales process within the assigned territory, targeting roles such as Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, and Investor Relations. The Associate Account Executive will research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct product demonstrations, manage product trials, and close deals. Collaboration with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline is essential, as is accurate forecasting and pipeline development to meet or exceed quotas. The role also involves working closely with Product Specialists during trials to ensure client engagement and successful purchases, as well as partnering with Account Management to maintain customer health and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

The ideal candidate is ready to take the next step in their sales career, possibly transitioning from a successful SDR program or pivoting into SaaS sales from another product. They should understand that sales is both an art and a science, with the ability to articulate their approach to the "science of sales." A strong track record of success in a SaaS or non-SaaS sales environment is required, along with a drive to understand customers and the sales cycle. The candidate should be hard-working, possess a 'never give up' attitude, and thrive in a motivated team with a winning culture. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to explain complex financial data and concepts to a non-financial audience and to communicate value at all organizational levels. The candidate should be a proactive hunter, consistently driving pipeline through personal efforts and leveraging support from SDR and Marketing teams. Intellectual curiosity, coachability, and tenacity are also key attributes for success in this role.

AlphaSense offers a competitive base compensation range of $73,000 to $107,000 USD, along with a generous commission plan featuring uncapped earning potential and equity. The company provides a comprehensive benefits program to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
