As an Assistant Manager in Risk Policy at Grab Financial Group (GFin), you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining risk management policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise-wide risk initiatives to bolster our risk posture and support sustainable business growth. You will report to the Senior Manager of Risk Policy and be based onsite at our office.

Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the subject matter expert for fraud risk policies related to payments and lending products. You will initiate regional policy initiatives and frameworks aimed at mitigating risk and fraud across new projects or enhancements to existing offerings. Additionally, you will identify and analyze emerging risks and trends, providing recommendations for policy and procedural adjustments to address these challenges. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to implement effective risk mitigation techniques and controls.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the payments or lending sectors, with a solid understanding of the fraud landscape and practical knowledge of fraud tools, systems, and models. Proficiency in fraud risk platforms and controls is essential. Familiarity with data analysis or mining tools, along with hands-on experience in SQL, is required. Strong problem-solving skills, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-changing environments are also important.
